The Victoria Shopping Centre
The Victoria Shopping Centre is at the top-end of the High Street, with direct access to Southend Victoria train station.
Formerly known as the Victoria Circus Shopping Centre, this is now under cover, has over 40 stores, and toilets including baby-changing / feeding and disabled facilities. Stores include:

Markets in and Around Southend:
Farmer’s Market: The Southend Farmers Market is held on the 2nd & 4th Saturday of the month on Southend High Street from 9am to 4pm. Free entry. More info at www.essexfarmersmarkets.co.uk.
Roots Hall Market: There’s also the huge open-air Roots Hall Market on a Thursday, at the football ground (5 minutes drive down Victoria Avenue). More: Roots Hall Market

We have a lovely little museum with the old trains to explore and lots of historical artefacts and displays.
There are videos to see and take you back to the days of the good old fashioned ‘Sarfend’ e are a charity and look forward to visitor support we are open at weekend and bank holidays during the season.
We are under the train station at the shore end of the pier.
